Some first-team players have found it difficult to get playing time since Graham Potter became Chelsea’s manager.
Despite this turn of events, certain Chelsea players who struggled to gain playing time under Tuchel are now enjoying their best campaigns under Graham Potter.
However, this development or event has undoubtedly upset certain Chelsea players, who may choose to leave the club as early as the January transfer window. Below are three Chelsea Stars Who could leave in January:
1. Dennis Zakaria
Since joining the Blues in January, the Swissinternational has yet to play a single minute of football, and reports say that his contract with Chelsea may soon be terminated, allowing the midfielder to go on to a new team in January.
2. Edouard Mendy
Under Thomas Tuchel, the Senegalese goalkeeper was a favourite, but Graham Potter has not yet used him.
Kepa Arrizabalaga is in excellent shape and has been chosen to play between the sticks. Given that Chelsea recently acquired Gabriel Slonina, the Senegalese star may decide to hunt for a new club in January as a result.
3. Ngolo Kante
If a new deal cannot be struck, Chelsea may be compelled to sell the French midfielder rather than risk losing him for nothing in the summer.
With his current injury woes, Chelsea are refusing to offer a long-term contract and could decide to sell the 30-year-old in January.
