Rasmus Hojlund ready to start for Manchester United vs Arsenal
The 20-year-old has not played a single match for United so far this season, but he is in line to start against Arsenal.
The Manchester Evening News quotes Ten Hag as saying about Hojlund: “So far it’s been a short time and he’s not even played games and now in the training sessions, but he confirms the impression of when we scouted him.
“We really intensely scouted him. He’s acting very good this week. Very good spirit. He’s very motivated to start in the team. He can’t wait and I think we did the right thing.
“Of course, I would have appreciated it if we had him from the first game, but that wasn’t the case but now he is fit. We are happy he will definitely strengthen the squad and he will make a good impact on the team.”
Manchester United have not made a particularly great start to the new Premier League season.
Arsenal are at home for today’s match and will be favourites.
It will be interesting to see Hojlund starts against Arsenal today.
The 20-year-old is a very good and promising striker, and he could be a huge hit for United in the long run.
Hojlund made 20 starts and 12 substitute appearances in Serie A for Atalanta last season.
The striker scored nine goals and gave two assists in those games.
