Arsenal go five points clear at the top of the English Premier League table after defeating Wolves by 2 goals to nil at the Molineux Stadium.
Two second half goals from Martin Odegaard in the 54th and 75th minutes ensured Arsenal stay top of the league with 37 points from 14 games.
The first half ended in a goalless draw. The visitors dominated the game all through but lacked the creativity and cutting edge in the final third, while the host had better chances in front of goal but failed to find the back of the net.
In the second half, Martin Odegaard broke the deadlock for Arsenal in the 54th minutes, assisted by Fabio Vieira and in the 75th minutes, the Norwegian added the second goal for Mikel Arteta’s side after Jose Sa parried away Gabriel Martinelli’s effort and he fired home the rebound to seal all three points for Arsenal.
