Chelsea’s next five games will give them an advantage over Liverpool, Man Utd and Newcastle in the race for Champions League spots.

While Chelsea sit eleventh in the Premier League on just as many points after eight games, Mauricio Pochettino will be plotting an ambitious charge for top-four.

Chelsea extended their unbeaten streak to three-games following an impressive 4-1 win over Burnley. Despite a disappointing start to the Premier League season, the Blues appear to have finally turned a corner under Mauricio Pochettino.

Following the west Londoners’ victory at Turf Moor on Saturday afternoon, the Chelsea boss insisted his side must be proud with their performance. Pochettino said: “When you concede first and then you need to break down the opponent, you feel proud when you achieve that.

“I think the team was playing well and we concede the first situation, that we concede a chance and that was unfair but the team was really good. We were solid in the whole team and we scored before the end of the first half which always helps a little bit in your belief for the second half we controlled the game.”
