Without much doubts, Chelsea football club will most definitely remain keen on improving their current squad under the management of Graham Potter when the transfer window opens.
Do remember that the West London club were one of the most active Premier League clubs during the summer transfer window as they completed the signings of several players.
However, Chelsea football club endured a rather difficult start to the new 2022/2023 football season which eventually led to the sacking of ThomasTuchel as club manager.
Graham Potter was appointed and if reports are anything to go by, the Blues are now looking to strengthen their defence and have been linked with a move for Inter Milan central defender Milan Skriniar.
The 27-year-old Slovakia International, who signed up for Inter Milan after departing Sampdoria back in 2017 has been an important member of the first-team squad over the previous seasons.
The experienced centre-back was hugely involved for Inter Milan during the 2021/2022 season where he scored four goals in 48 appearances in all competitions.
Milan Skriniar has also continued to be a mainstay in that Inter Milan defence line this new 2022/2023 season, having made nine appearances in all competitions so far.
But then, Milan Skriniar has just one year left on his current contract with Inter Milan and due to his refusal to sign a new contract, he could be interested in leaving the club next year.
And according to reports from The Sun, Chelsea football club are currently monitoring his contract situation as they look to lure him to England when the transfer window opens.
The reports further claimed that Chelsea manager Graham Potter is a big fan of Milan Skriniar and he is willing to sign him on a free transfer when the window opens.
That said, it remains to be seen if Milan Skriniar will choose to continue his career at Inter Milan by signing a new contract or he will be interested in leaving the Serie A side on a free transfer next summer.
