Reece James was taken off in the game against AC Milan after the English International seemed to have picked up a knee injury in the second half of the clash. He was eventually replaced by Spanish International, Cesar Azpilicueta and some Chelsea fans on social media are worried about the 22 year-old current situation as they hope it isn’t a severe injury that could make him miss some important games for the club before the world cup tournament.
Well, below are some reactions on Twitter of fans reacting to Reece James injury;
Chelsea stormed to a resounding Champions League victory at the San Siro, where ex-Blues defender Fikayo Tomori was sent off and Reece James suffered an injury. Tomori’s hand on Mason Mount’s shoulder after 18 minutes put his former team-mate off balance as he shaped to shoot. That resulted in a penalty being awarded and Tomori being red-carded on a night when nine yellow cards were brandished by referee Daniel Siebert, who seemed overly eager to reach for his pocket. Jorginho tucked away the spot-kick and Pierre- Emerick Aubameyang doubled the lead 11 minutes before half-time.

Chelsea’s Reece James was the latest right-back to suffer a problem, going off midway through the second half of his side’s 2-0 Champions League win at AC Milan with a leg injury. It is the latest blow for Southgate in a position where England had looked blessed with options.
