Former England defender Danny Mills believes that signing Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford would be a ‘big risk‘ for Arsenal.
The 24-year-old has been linked with a summer move to the north London club after becoming a peripheral figure at Old Trafford this season.
The Gunners will be in the market for a striker after failing to replace Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang who left for Barcelona in the January transfer window.
The club’s only other senior strikers in Eddie Nketiah and Alexandre Lacazette are both out of contract at the end of next month.
Arsenal are reportedly prepared to pay Man United around £45million to acquire Rashford’s services, but parting with such a figure could be an enormous gamble for a player who’s only scored five goals in all competitions this season.
The Gunners have also been linked with a move for Manchester City forward Gabriel Jesus, and Mills believes that the Brazilian would be the better option for the club.

Jesus has scored 13 goals and notched 12 assists for City this term, and at 25 is just a year older than Rashford.
Both players have just one year remaining on their current contracts.
